Reflecting on 2025: My Journey as a Grammy U Mentor and New Recording Academy Member

2025 was a year of quiet progress and meaningful milestones in my music career. Although I didn’t share much publicly, several important developments shaped my path as a composer. Becoming a voting member of the Recording Academy and joining the Grammy U mentorship program opened new doors and deepened my commitment to music, bringing hope and inspiration.

Being a Grammy U Mentor

The Grammy U mentorship program is designed to support emerging music professionals by pairing them with experienced mentors. Joining this program allowed me to give back to the community and help guide the next generation of artists. My mentee is a producer called RicctBeatzz. During our first meeting he shared his dreams, goals and what he wanted from the mentorship — to sign his first synch contract — we did it! RiccyBeatzz signed his world music beats into ARC musics library.
